Estimate your fencing project before the site measure
Our online fencing estimators are designed to give you a practical starting point before an Outlook Fencing team member visits the property. Choose the calculator that best matches your project, enter the available measurements and select any gates, removal work or site conditions that apply.
The result is an indicative estimate, not a fixed quotation. A free on-site measure allows us to confirm the boundary or pool layout, access, levels, materials, fabrication requirements and installation method before providing a project-specific quote.
Boundary fencing estimates
Plan a Colorbond boundary or dividing fence using the approximate fence length and preferred height. The estimator can account for common cost factors such as removing an existing fence, sloping ground and matching pedestrian gates.
Front and feature fencing estimates
Explore aluminium slat and architectural feature-fence options together with pedestrian gates, driveway gates and automation. Custom fabrication, finishes, opening sizes and access requirements are confirmed during the measure.
Pool fencing estimates
Compare frameless and semi-frameless glass, perforated metal, tubular and batten pool fencing. Enter the fence length, select gates and extras, or combine several fence styles in one indicative project estimate.
How the estimate works
You do not need final construction drawings to begin. Reasonable measurements and a clear idea of the fence type are enough for an initial comparison.
1. Choose the closest estimator
Select boundary, front and feature, or pool fencing.
2. Enter what you know
Add approximate lengths, heights, fence styles, gates and relevant extras. You can revise the choices to compare practical alternatives.
3. Arrange the free measure
We verify the site and prepare the formal quotation. Nothing is ordered or scheduled from the online estimate alone.
What can change the final fencing price?
The main price factors are the total fence length and height, product and finish, site access, soil and ground conditions, slopes or level changes, demolition and disposal, the number and size of gates, automation and any custom fabrication.
Existing walls, retaining structures, services, neighbouring fences and difficult material access can also affect the installation approach. These details are easier to assess accurately on site than through a calculator.
The estimator is most useful for comparing options and establishing a realistic planning range. Your written Outlook Fencing quotation will set out the agreed scope, inclusions and payment stages.
Is the online estimate a quotation?
No. It is an indicative planning estimate based on the information entered. The final quotation is prepared after we confirm measurements, access, ground conditions and the required construction details.
Can I compare different fencing options?
Yes. Change the fence style, height, length, gates or extras and recalculate. For pool fencing, you can also compare a single style with a mixed-style layout.
Should I include existing-fence removal?
Select the removal option when an existing fence needs to be demolished and taken away. We will confirm the material, access and disposal requirements during the site measure.
Why is an on-site measure still required?
Small differences in levels, access, boundaries, gate openings and installation surfaces can materially affect the finished project. The measure lets us confirm a buildable layout and accurate scope.
